Catherine Pond is the author of one collection of poetry, Fieldglass, winner of the Crab Orchard First Book Prize and a finalist for the National Poetry Series. Her poems have recently appeared in Indiana Review, The Missouri Review, and AGNI, as well as in anthologies including Best New Poets, Essential Queer Voices of U.S. Poetry, and Best American Nonrequired Reading. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Southern California, an MFA from Columbia University, and a BA from Skidmore College. Formerly Assistant Director of the New York State Summer Writers Institute, she has taught Creative Writing at the Fashion Institute of Technology and USC. She currently works as a freelance writer based out of San Francisco.
