Catherine Pond is the author of one collection of poetry, Fieldglass, winner of the Crab Orchard First Book Prize and a finalist for the National Poetry Series. Her poems have appeared in journals including American Poetry Review, VQR, Oxford Poetry, and The Missouri Review, and in anthologies including Best New Poets and Best American Nonrequired Reading. She is the 2025 recipient of APR’s Stanley Kunitz Memorial Prize. Pond holds a PhD from the University of Southern California, an MFA from Columbia University, and a BA from Skidmore College. She lives in Los Angeles where she is currently a Dornsife Fellow at USC.
